Ron is a lifelong resident of the Columbus area and a proud graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School and The Ohio State University. He holds the distinction of being the first registered builder with the New Albany Community Development Department.
With more than 30 years of experience in custom home building and renovation, Ron is well-known and highly respected throughout New Albany. He built his first custom home in the community in 1993 and has since played a key role in shaping the area’s growth and design standards. Ron has served on the New Albany Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and the Long Range Planning Committee, contributing to the development of Market Street. He was also appointed to the Columbus Property Review Board.
In addition to his work in construction, Ron is an experienced Realtor, actively serving clients in New Albany and the surrounding areas. His extensive background in both real estate and custom building allows him to offer unmatched expertise and insight to every project and client relationship.
Joe A. Garner, Owner

Joe is a lifelong resident of the Columbus area, growing up in Grove City. With more than 25 years of experience in custom home construction throughout New Albany and the surrounding areas, Joe has built a strong reputation for his craftsmanship, dedication, and deep knowledge of the building process.
A skilled framer and builder by trade, Joe has worked alongside many of New Albany’s leading custom homebuilders and has personally framed more than 75 custom homes in the community.
As the primary on-site contact for Guzzo & Garner, Joe works hands-on with homeowners throughout every stage of construction. His expertise, attention to detail, and approachable style ensure each homeowner feels informed, supported, and confident as their home comes to life.
Kaitlyn J. Garner
Project & Design / Operations Manager / Realtor
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Kaitlyn brings over a decade of experience in custom home building, design, and real estate to her clients throughout New Albany and Central Ohio.
As a Project Manager, Kaitlyn specializes in guiding homeowners through every stage of the build process — from design selections and material coordination to overseeing budgets and ensuring a seamless experience from concept to completion.
Her detail-oriented approach and strong communication skills help homeowners feel confident and informed every step of the way.
In addition to her work in custom home building, Kaitlyn is a licensed Realtor, helping clients buy, sell, and invest in properties that align with their lifestyle and long-term goals. Her combined background in construction and real estate offers a unique advantage, providing insight that bridges both sides of the homeownership journey.
